Multiple fights break out at Knott’s Berry Farm

Knott’s Berry Farm was forced to close early Saturday night due to a series of fights that erupted inside the theme park, prompting a police response.

Officers responded to reports of multiple fights at the park at around 7:30 p.m., after receiving several 911 calls and being notified by security at Knott’s Berry Farm. Annette Duran, a CBSLA employee who was at the park Saturday night, described multiple fights and stampedes of parkgoers attempting to get out of the way.

Buena Park PD also stated that there were reports of shots fired during the fights, but that no evidence has been found thus far.

Police questioned several people, including victims who suffered non-life threatening injuries.
