Nollywood stars Aki and Pawpaw return in new series “Fatty and Sons”

The comic duo of Aki and Pawpaw is making a Nollywood come back in an upcoming series titled Fatty & Sons.

The stars have been absent on the entertainment scene for a while now and fans of theirs had requested they come back. Well, that request has apparently been granted.

Taking to his Instagram page on Thursday, May 13, 2021, actor Chinedu Ikedieze (a.k.a. Aki) wrote the following words: “You want a tv series so here you have it!.

“We are adding zobo to the palm wine this time. I don’t know what @datwarrigirl is doing with spanner. Fatty & Sons Autos!!! What channel would you like to watch this?”.

Given the fact that Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme (a.k.a. Pawpaw) warmed the hearts of Nigerians when they first broke onto the entertainment scene many years ago, their return will definitely be welcomed by everyone.

Known to combine a blend of melodrama and laugh-out-loud humour, the duo fondly called Aki & Pawpaw (the names they bore in their early film role) showed that what they lacked in height, they more than made up in talent.

The premiere date of Fatty & Sons hasn’t been revealed yet but that should change in the coming days.
