Dr. Akinwumi Adesina: Gen. Yakubu Gowon is a Man of Great Honour
The President of the African Development Bank (AFDB) and former Honourable Minister of Agriculture, Federal Republic of Nigeria Dr. Akinwumi Adesina describes Gen. Yakubu Gowon as a Man of Great Honour.
He stated this in his recent tweet where he described the Nigeria’s former Head of State, as a man of great honour, decency, honesty, amazing simplicity, humility and integrity.
He went ahead to say ”I know him. A great and admirable elder statesman of Nigeria. His honesty and integrity are impeccable”.
This tweet however is getting different reactions from Nigeria citizens as some claim that his remarks are false while others also accept it to be true.
