Breaking: Composer of the famous ‘James Bond’ blockbuster movie Monty Norman dead at 94
“It is with sadness that we share the news that Monty Norman died on 11th July 2022 after a short illness,” reads a statement on Norman’s website.
“We are saddened to learn of Monty Norman’s passing today,” James Bond producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said in a Twitter statement.
“Monty wrote the iconic anthem that accompanied the film debut of the world’s greatest secret agent, 007, and we will be eternally grateful for his contribution to the franchise.”
