Josephine Tewson, who starred in Last of the Summer Wine and Keeping Up Appearances, passed away at the age of 91, her agent announced.

At the age of 91, Josephine passed away quietly yesterday night at Denville Hall.
After starting her acting career in the early 1950s, Josephine had a dazzling TV career.
On social media, tributes to the actress have already started to come in, as one admirer noted: “In Hyacinth’s kitchen, she has shaken her final teacup. Godspeed, Josephine Tewson.” Wife of late Only Fools and Horses actor John Challis, Carol Challis, continued: “Josephine Tewson, goodbye.
