Breaking: Bret Michaels hospitalized, ‘Poison’ cancels Nashville set

Poison are in the midst of their ’80s rock-centric Stadium Tour with Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, and Joan Jett, but they were forced to cancel their Nashville set on Thursday night (7/30) when frontman Bret Michaels had a medical emergency.

Michaels said in a Twitter statement, “Thank you to all of the incredible Nashville fans for your well wishes!! I was really excited to get on stage in Music City and perform, but due to an unexpected medical complication and subsequent hospitalization, it was not possible.

Please accept my heartfelt apologies for being unable to rock the stage tonight!!! I’m working hard to return to full strength as soon as possible, and I hope you had a great time with my friends Motley/Leppard/ Joan and Classles “Act!!!”
