Southern Germany: Atleast 4 dead, 30 injured in ghastly ‘Train crash’ – photos
Train crash – At least four people have been killed and 15 severely injured when a train derailed in southern Germany.
A police spokesperson said the Munich-bound train had been quite full at the time it crashed north of the Bavarian ski resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
About 30 people were hurt in the incident, police said on Twitter.
A police spokesperson said 60 people had been on board at the time of the crash.
Several school students were on board the train, a local newspaper reported.
Prosecutors and police have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash.
