Tom Cruise just keeps on winning; “Top Gun: Maverick,” his smash hit blockbuster film, has achieved new heights by knocking on the Marvel box office door and eliminating Thanos.
The high-flying follow-up reached a significant milestone this week, surpassing “Avengers: Infinity War” to rank as the #6 highest grossing film of all time with a domestic total of $679 million… barely beating out “IW,” which was at $678M and had been occupying the position for years.
