Nigerian Army Confirms Actor CHIWETALU AGU’s Arrest over IPOB Outfit

The Nigerian Army has confirmed the arrest of a Nigerian actor CHIWETALU AGU while Soliciting Support for IPOB.

According to the Nigerian Army report;

Troops of the Nigerian Army (NA) have arrested one Chiwetalu Agu while inciting members of the public and soliciting support for the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

According to the report, he dressed in a very well-known attire of the proscribed group.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) is a group that wants a breakaway state in South-East Nigeria.

The Army denied reports that the actor was assaulted during the arrest saying “he attempted to put up some resistance”.

Actor Chiwetalu Agu was picked up for questioning while inciting members of the public to join the proscribed group.

The Army shared a photo of Mr. Chinwetalu Agu being questioned while wearing the outfit;
