Police in Birmingham have discovered the body of a missing student who went missing after going out on a night out.
Officers launched an investigation after Joseph Derbisz, 21, a mechanical engineering student, became separated from friends at a University of Birmingham nightclub in the early hours of Sunday.
On Saturday afternoon, campus security guards discovered a body near a car park used by students as a shortcut, 250 metres from Fab N Fresh, a late-night venue in Selly Oak run by the Guild of Students. Firefighters recovered the body.
Joseph Derbisz, 21, of Rugby, Warwickshire, was a mechanical engineering student.
Although formal identification has not yet occurred.
