Authorities said a 14-year-old boy died after falling from a ride at ICON Park in Orlando, Florida.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that deputies responded to the Orlando Free Fall attraction at ICON Park shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday after receiving a 911 call.

While the investigation into the death is still ongoing, “witnesses on scene reported that someone had fallen from the ride,” according to the sheriff’s office.

According to officials, the teen was taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital and died as a result of his injuries. His name has not been released.

“Words can’t express how we feel,” said John Stine, sales and marketing director for the Slingshot Group of Companies, the ride’s owner and operator. “
