Congrats!! Joey Chestnut emerge winner in the ‘Nathan’s 15th Hot Dog Eating Competition’
Joey Chestnut won the Mustard Belt for the 15th time in his career over the Fourth of July weekend. Chestnut won the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest in 2022 by consuming 63 hot dogs and buns.
Geoffrey Esper came in second with 471 hot dogs and buns, while James Webb came in third with 41 hot dogs and buns.
The Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest returned to its traditional location on the corner of Surf and Stillwell avenues in Brooklyn for the first time since 2019.
Chestnut has won 15 of the previous 16 Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contests, dating back to 2007.
