Carlos Santana collapsed on stage from dehydration during a performance in Michigan
According to his website, famed rock-and-roll guitarist Carlos Santana collapsed onstage Tuesday evening while performing in Michigan.
According to the statement, Santana, 74, collapsed from dehydration and heat exhaustion while performing at the Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan, 40 miles northwest of Detroit.
According to his manager, Michael Vrionis, “Carlos was taken to the emergency department at McLaren Clarkston for observation and is doing well.”
Santana was set to perform at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday. That performance has been rescheduled.
