Fighter jets escort Polish football team to Qatar World Cup
Fighter jets directed the Polish men’s national team plane to the country’s southern border after a missile killed two farmers four miles from the Ukrainian border.
On their journey to the World Cup in Qatar, the traveling team, which features superstar Robert Lewandowski, was escorted out of the nation by F-16 fighter planes.
After a rocket killed two farmers four miles from the Ukrainian border on Tuesday, November 15, the national team plane was directed by fighter jets to Poland’s southern border.
Following the explosion, military blocked off the Ukrainian-Polish border out of concern for a potential Russian immigration catastrophe.
