The Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) Nigeria, affirms that hand washing with soap and water is an easy way to prevent the spread of #COVID19.
Therefore all schools should provide adequate hand washing facilities and ensure that students, teachers and visitors wash their hands.
According to the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) Nigeria, the virus is transmitted through direct contact with respiratory droplets of an infected person (generated through coughing and sneezing).
Individuals can also be infected from touching surfaces contaminated with the virus and touching their face (e.g., eyes, nose, mouth). The COVID-19 virus may survive on surfaces for several hours, but simple disinfectants can kill it.
Therefore all schools must ensure that there is sufficient access to running water, soap and hand washing facilities the prevent the spread of Covid19!
Stay safe!
