Kenya: man shoots wife dead then kills himself
Police in Kiambu town, Kenya have launched an investigation to determine what would have led a man into murdering his wife and himself shortly after.
According to the Kiambu police station report seen by K24 Digital, Jonathan Mukundi Gachunga,42, who is also a licenced firearm holder is said to have murdered his wife Philomena Njeri,30, by shooting her in the head.
He then followed up the murder by committing suicide where he allegedly shot himself in the head with the same firearm inside their bedroom.
