Lonely pensioner gored to death by his ‘wild’ pet boar (photos)

A bloke has been found dead after he was gouged to death by a wild boar he wanted to keep as a friend.

Amnuay Suriwong, 68, took the wild animal under his wing in the name of companionship, but the operation came crashing down when the ungrateful swine skewered him on its tusk.

The unfortunate man was found in a pool of blood at his home in Kamphaeng Phet province, Thailand, on November 24.

He had been trying to get the raging bacon into its pen, neighbours said, with the animal so furious he had asked them for help.

In the commotion shouted for aid and made it to a nearby wooden bench where he lay down but succumbed to his injuries before medics made it to him.

Mr Suriwong is understood to have bled to death after the boar’s tusks left two huge wounds in his upper thigh.

Locals said they had been surprised by its violent outburst, having been passive and tame previously.

The 120kg beast has now been shot by locals for fear of it carrying on with its murderous rampage.

He had lived alone Amnuay’s sister, Durian Suriwong, 54, told local media and the boar had been taken in in the a hope that it could provide companionship.
