Barcelona agrees to sign ‘Leeds’ Raphinha
Barcelona has announced that Raphinha has reached a “in principle agreement” with Leeds United.
According to the BBC, the move, which is still subject to a medical, is worth €58 million ($58.2 million) and could eventually rise to €65 million.
Since joining Leeds from French club Rennes in 2020, the 25-year-old winger has scored 17 goals and assisted 12 times in 65 Premier League games.
He is also expected to play in Brazil’s World Cup team this fall in Qatar, after making nine appearances for the national team since his debut last August.
