Google Doodle celebrates ‘Qixi’
The Qixi Festival, an Asian event observed in Taiwan, Singapore, and other countries, is honored in today’s Google Doodle.
The festival commemorates Zhinü and Niulang, the weaving girl and cowherd from Chinese legend, who cross paths every year.
Their reconnaissance is shown in a red silhouette on the stamped fabric doodle, surrounded by whirling clouds and magpies.
