Kano APC ward suspends National chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje over alleged corruption
The All Progressives Congress (APC) ward in Ganduje, Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area of Kano State has suspended the party’s National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje.
The ward’s legal adviser, Halliru Gwanzo, disclosed this at a press conference today, April 15. Gwanzo cited allegations of bribery against Ganduje leveled by the Kano State Government as the reason for the suspension.
“We decided to suspend Dr. Ganduje from the party due to the seriousness of the allegations against him,” Gwanzo stated.
According to the ward APC leaders, the suspension is effective from Monday, 15 April, 2024 until the former governor of the state clears himself from the allegations.
The APC national chairman is yet to comment on the suspension.
