Meet Jeffrey Dahmer, The Milwaukee Cannibal Who Killed And Ate People
Jeffrey Dahmer, known as the “Milwaukee Cannibal” or “Milwaukee Monster,” was a notorious serial killer who committed horrifying acts. Between 1978 and 1991, he lured and murdered 17 young men and boys. His crimes went beyond murder, as he engaged in acts of necrophilia and cannibalism, dismembering his victims’ bodies.
Jeffrey Dahmer not only murdered his victims but also dismembered their bodies and, in some cases, consumed parts of their remains. This macabre and horrifying aspect of his crimes added to the shock and revulsion surrounding his case.
Steven Hicks was Dahmer’s first known victim in 1978. Dahmer lured Hicks to his home under the pretext of drinking alcohol together. After getting him drunk, Dahmer bludgeoned Hicks to death with a dumbbell.

He later dismembered Hicks’ body, retaining some of his bones and scattering the rest in the woods. Dahmer was not caught for this murder until years later when he was apprehended for subsequent crimes, leading to the discovery of his earlier victims.
In 1991, Dahmer’s crimes were brought to light when police encountered a drugged and disoriented 14-year-old Laotian boy named Konerak Sinthasomphone who had managed to escape Dahmer’s apartment.
Despite the boy’s pleas for help, the police believed Dahmer’s false story that they were lovers having a lover’s quarrel. They returned Konerak to Dahmer’s apartment, where he later became one of Dahmer’s victims.
However, this incident did ultimately lead to Dahmer’s arrest. Later that year, Dahmer was captured when another one of his intended victims, Tracy Edwards, managed to escape and inform the police about Dahmer’s actions.
After his arrest in 1991, Dahmer was charged with multiple counts of murder and later confessed to killing 17 young men and boys. He was convicted and sentenced to 16 consecutive life terms in prison. His time in prison was cut short when he was killed by a fellow inmate in 1994. Watch video of his bography here
