UFC: Leon Edwards gains victory over Kamaru Usman in a ‘Knock out’ head kick to become UFC welterweight champion(watch highlight)

At UFC 278 in Salt Lake City, Utah, Leon Edwards knocked out Kamaru Usman to claim the welterweight championship.

As the fight neared its conclusion, the Brit was down by points, but Edwards had other ideas. He induced Usman to lean to his right before delivering a stunning kick to the champion’s jaw. Edwards accomplished the first full takedown of Usman in UFC history during the opening round.

The Nigerian answered brilliantly in rounds two and three, pressing Edwards with a barrage of blows while controlling the action with his incredible grappling abilities.
