Elon Musk reveals he has Asperger syndrome
Tesla and SpaceX boss Elon Musk hosted the Saturday Night Live show recently and disclosed that he has Asperger Syndrome.
Musk made the announcement at the beginning of his monologue when he shared that he was the first SNL host with the disorder.
Asperger Syndrome (also called Asperger’s) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that makes the individual have difficulty in social interaction and nonverbal communication, along with repetitive patterns of behaviour and interests.
It doesn’t affect a person’s intelligence and language function but those who have it often show a level of clumsiness
Elon Musk played the humorous host quite well on the comedy show and seemed relaxed as well. He made a joke about how he smoked at Joe Rogan‘s podcast, leading to everyone thinking he is a pothead.
The 49-year-old tech genius also brought his mother, Maye Musk, on stage in a moment that was both sweet and comical.
While being celebrated by her son, Maye said, “I just hope it’s not dogecoin”; a reference to a cryptocurrency that started as a joke.
Musk’s appearance on SNL led to a sharp decline in the value of dogecoin after he called it a “hustle“.
