Liverpool vs Watford updates, highlights & lineups from Premier League clash

Liverpool take on Watford as the Premier League returns following the international break, with Jurgen Klopp’s side looking to go top of the table.

A victory would see Liverpool, temporarily at least, go above Manchester City, who are in action away to Burnley later this afternoon.

It is also an important fixture for Watford, who are managed by a former Liverpool boss in Roy Hodgson. The Hornets are currently in the relegation zone and are in desperate need of points.

Liverpool are looking to win their 10th league game in succession in their quest to regain the title, with their hopes of winning the quadruple still alive.
