Israel strikes have killed seven people including a disabled man, his pregnant wife, and their three-year-old child in the besieged Palestinian enclave of Gaza on Wednesday, the health ministry said.
Another person died of wounds sustained the day before, the ministry in Gaza told AFP.
This has brought the total number of persons killed in the Israeli bombardment in the coastal strip from May 10 to 227.
“I did the strangest thing today – I exchanged my children with my brother’s. I took two of his children, and gave him two of mine. So in case I get bombed, one of mine will survive & if he gets bombed, one of his will live on,” an eyewitness narrated.
According to reports, 11 of the 64 children that have been killed in the attacks that have enter ninth times on Gaza were part of the children participating in a mental health programme to help them deal with the trauma.
