Vanessa Bryant pens down heartfelt tribute to honor her late husband Kobe Bryant

In 2009, the year Kobe won his fourth NBA championship and his first NBA Finals MVP award, Vanessa shared a selfie of herself and her NBA legend husband.

You can see Bryant giving Vanessa a bear hug after the game while sporting his 2009 NBA Championship shirt and hat. They were both beaming.

The 40-year-old wished the infant a happy birthday on Tuesday.

Since the untimely deaths of her husband Kobe, whom she married in April 2001, and her daughter Gigi, Vanessa has been paying tribute to them in a variety of ways. Some of these include getting tattoos in their honor, starting the Mambacita clothing line, and taking her other 3 daughters to Italy, where Kobe was raised.

Vanessa reported visiting Reggio Calabria in July, the city where her spouse had resided since he was around 8 years old.

Of course, Bryant continued to play in the NBA for 20 seasons, winning 5 championships and twice being named MVP of the NBA Finals. He was also an 18-time All-Star, broke numerous records, and is regarded as one of the greatest NBA players in history.
