UK: Fuel protests cause go-slow in M54 and M6 junctions

The go-slow convoys are just two of many protests taking place across the country as average petrol and diesel prices approach £2 per litre.

Protesters in cars, vans, and trucks have joined the protest near Shifnal Services at Junction 4 on the M54. From there, they’ll take the M6 east to Junction 1 for Cannock before turning around and returning to Shropshire.

Another convoy is expected to drive at 30mph in lanes one and two of the M6, heading north from Junction 3 before returning down the southbound carriageway in the West Midlands.
