Pakistan’s former Member of the National Assembly (MNA) and popular television host Aamir Liaquat, 49, died in Karachi under mysterious circumstances, local media reported on Thursday.

According to reports, Liaquat felt discomfort on Wednesday night, however, he refused to go to the hospital, reported Pakistan’s local media outlet Geo TV.

Aamir Liaqut Hussain saw the dizzying heights of fame and notoriety. His life took a downward spiral in recent years as controversies and scandals followed him. A man of many talents undone by his unhinged ways. But in the end, a sad and shocking death. RIP.
